About.
We provide unique cryptic crossword clues and solutions. We credit all. The setter, the paper, and the photograph. The only source we read is the Guardian, the Financial Times and the Independent. A Times, Telegraph or homemade clue is used only when the answer is already written down. We never invent answers. Andrew invites, then Cryptic Croc presents the new films. Sonia, Libby, Ryan and Thomas stay on the voice list, and you can still pick a real place as the backdrop. The same Shorts go to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook when those accounts are connected. The site is the spoiler-safe home.
Answers and wordplay belong to the setters and the bloggers. We rewrite for speech and always link the original post.
Readers can suggest one homemade clue a day, or ask for a daily clue by email. Both land in Aled’s inbox at aledmorgan@gmail.com.
When the site has readers, a small labelled ad can sit under the pair — never on the answer. How that works is on Support.
